Miracle-Gro Professional Super Seed for is a brand new lawn seed especially developed for hard wearing lawns. A multipurpose grass seed for a lawn that is high tolerant to enjoy with kids, pets, friends and family.

Specially selected variety of perennial ryegrass that regenerates and spreads by itself to create a thicker, denser lawn. And unlike most grass seeds, Super Seed works with temperature as low as 6°C.

High nitrogen feed to encourage young seedling growth for a thicker, greener lawn with calcium to help re-balance the soil pH and neutralise urine burns in lawns.

Seed Mixture Breakdown

Mixture breakdown of grass seed included
25% Perennial Ryegrass (Lolium perenne)
10% Chewings Fescue (Festuca rubra commut)
20% Strong Creeping Fescue (Festuca rubra rubra)
15% Annual Ryegrass (Lolium multiflorum)
30% Regenerating Perennial Ryegrass (RPR) (Lolium perenne)

How to use

  1. Rake the area to remove all weeds, stones, leaves and dead grass.
  2. Shake the pack to mix the seeds.
  3. You can use the side-pack sprinkler or a spreader.
  4. Sprinkle evenly, creating a criss-cross pattern by sowing half the seed from left to right and the other half from top to bottom.
  5. Gently rake in and tread the seeds into soil.
  6. Soak into water with a fine spray and keep moist for the next few weeks.
  7. In ideal conditions when the soil is moist, grass will start appear from 9 days. In less favourable conditions allow 10-14 days.
  8. Mow your lawn when it has reached 5-8 cm.

On the lawn, once the risk of frost has passed.

Overseed 33m² of lawn.

Create 19m² of new lawn.

Fertiliser analysis

Contains a mix of coated seed (fine fescues and ryegrass), controlled release fertiliser (Poly-S) and gypsum. NPK 6-0-0.

Once you have added your items to the basket you can continue to secure checkout and make payments via credit or debit card. All payments are processed via PayPal.

Click and Collect

We offer a click and collect service for those who would like to collect from us directly. Collection times are between 8:30 am and 6:00 pm 7 days a week.

We ask you to have a copy of your order confirmation to hand, either printed or on a mobile device

Please do not come to collect your order unless you have received a ‘ready to be collected’ email as it may not be ready immediately. We strive to get all click and collect orders together within an hour but sometimes this is not possible.

Local Deliveries

Local Deliveries are sent out on a first-come-first-served basis. There is no minimum order, but there is a fee for all orders that start at £10 and increase as you get further away from our centre. All deliveries are from Monday to Friday 9-4. 

We offer curbside/driveway drop off only. 

Additional charges may apply for large or heavy items.

E-Gift Card Delivery

  • Delivery for our E-Gift Cards is FREE as it is sent to an email address of your choice.

  • Please note that your E-Gift Card will automatically be sent to the email address provided upon completion of payment.

  • If you would like it to be sent directly to your recipient at the time of purchase, please enter their email address in the 'Delivery Address' section at checkout. 

  • Alternatively, you can forward the email to them at a preferred date.
