For best results we recommend using a Miracle-Gro® Spreader.
Application by spreader
- Miracle-Gro® Handy Spreader = 4
- Miracle-Gro® Drop Spreader = 5.5
- Miracle-Gro® Rotary Spreader = 26.5
Application by hand
Apply at an individual dose of 20g per square metre. For a visual guide to the correct application rate, first spread the recommended amount over a small measured area.
Areas for treatment must be marked out to ensure even application.
After use
Do not re-seed or turf for at least 6 weeks after application.
Do not mow for 4 days from application – for best results, mow regularly.
When using a spreader, pour any leftover product back into the original packaging and wash the spreader thoroughly over the lawn to remove all product clinging to the spreader. Allow the spreader to dry before safe storage.
Wash hands after use and before eating and drinking.
Where to use
For use on your lawn. Wait at least 6 weeks after seeding or turfing new lawn areas before using Miracle-Gro® Thick & Green Lawn Food. Do not re-seed or turf for at least 6 weeks after application.
When to apply
From March – September, when the weather is fair, soil is damp and no risk of frost or imminent heavy rain.

This pack treats up to 200 m².
Fertiliser analysis
NPK fertiliser 22-5-5 containing urea formaldehyde.
Cautions
- We recommend wearing gloves when gardening.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Keep children and pets away from treated areas until granules have been watered in and dried.

Click and Collect
We offer a click and collect service for those who would like to collect from us directly. Collection times are between 8:30 am and 6:00 pm 7 days a week.
We ask you to have a copy of your order confirmation to hand, either printed or on a mobile device
Please do not come to collect your order unless you have received a ‘ready to be collected’ email as it may not be ready immediately. We strive to get all click and collect orders together within an hour but sometimes this is not possible.
Local Deliveries
Local Deliveries are sent out on a first-come-first-served basis. There is no minimum order, but there is a fee for all orders that start at £10 and increase as you get further away from our centre. All deliveries are from Monday to Friday 9-4.
We offer curbside/driveway drop off only.
Additional charges may apply for large or heavy items.
