WHEN TO SOW

April to May



Where to Sow

Sow seed on edge to prevent rotting 1.5cm (1/2") deep in individual 9cm(3 1/2in) pots under glass at a constant day and night temperature of 21°C.



What to do next

As soon as the seedlings have formed 3 true leaves, transplant into 15cm (6") pots. When the plants are about 10cm (4") tall, plant out outdoors once hardened off and all risk of frost has passed. Grow up against netting or allow to trail along the ground. Can also be cropped under glass, planted into large pots or growbags. Provide some form of support and tie in stems as required.

HANDY TIP

Fruits can produce small black spines on the outside skin so are best peeled before eating.

Once you have added your items to the basket you can continue to secure checkout and make payments via credit or debit card. All payments are processed via Apple Pay, Google Pay, Credit Card, Debit Card and PayPal.

Click and Collect

We offer a click-and-collect service for those who would like to collect from us directly. Collection times are between 8:30am and 6pm 7 days a week.

We ask you to have a copy of your order confirmation to hand, either printed or on a mobile device.

Please do not come to collect your order unless you have received a ‘ready to be collected’ email as it may not be ready immediately. We strive to get all click and collect orders together within 2 hours but sometimes this is not possible.

Local Deliveries

Local Deliveries are sent out on a first-come-first-served basis. There is no minimum order, but there is a fee for all orders that start at £10 and increase as you get further away from our centre. 

We offer curbside/driveway drop-off only. 

Additional charges may apply for large or heavy items.
